As a Permanent Resident of Singapore, you and your family will enjoy greater freedom in living, working, and property ownership. You will be considered a part of the local community, eligible for various benefits provided by the government, such as unrestricted entry and exit during travel to Singapore. Additionally, your children will have priority access to the resources of Singapore's high-quality public education system. In terms of employment, your employer will be required to contribute to your pension plan every month. You will no longer need to reapply for a new work visa each time your visa expires. While holding permanent residency in Singapore comes with various rights and benefits, the government also expects you to fulfill certain responsibilities and obligations. One such obligation is fulfilling national service duties, for example, your son (if he is also a permanent resident) will be required to enlist in national service upon reaching 18 years of age.

Frequently asked questions

To qualify for PR application, you must fall under one of the following categories: 1) Holders of an SP Work Pass, Employment Pass, EntrePass, or Personalized Employment Pass; 2) Spouses of Singapore citizens or PRs; 3) Unmarried children under 21 years old of Singapore citizens or PRs; 4) Investors.

PR application cannot be guaranteed 100% approval. If any company makes such promises to you, it is certainly a false marketing strategy. However, since 2014, our company's approval rate has been around 85-90%. We maintain a high approval rate by selectively working with clients. If we believe a client is not ready or does not meet the application criteria, we temporarily do not handle their application.

Sometimes we see clients who obtain permanent residency but do not live in Singapore, fail to meet the government's residency requirements, and are ultimately rejected during renewal. However, if you have been living in Singapore and contributing, it is unlikely to be rejected. The government wants to approve those who are ready to reside in the country for the long term, which is why it is called 'permanent residency.'

We cannot guarantee 100% approval of your PR application. However, rest assured, we will do our best to increase your chances of success. Typically, we advise clients to keep copies of submitted documents. If the application is rejected, we can review the documents again and identify areas for improvement in the submitted documents. Even if approved, we still recommend keeping all copies for potential use when applying for Singapore citizenship in the future.

Some employers may be reluctant to provide support as they are concerned employees may resign after obtaining PR. Try to convince your company to provide support, as it may increase your chances of success. If they are genuinely unwilling to provide document support, you can still support your application through documents such as payslips.

Sorry, the Employment Pass and Dependant Pass are issued for specific companies, so you need to apply for a new Employment Pass after registering a new company.

If you lose any mandatory documents, you need to provide an explanation letter and explain your situation. We provide services to draft such letters.

For your introduction letter, our professional service personnel will have a conversation with you and conduct an interview about your background and situation. Once the initial draft is completed, we will provide you with a copy for reference and make corresponding modifications based on your feedback.
