Common Long Term Visit Pass Criteria:
- Spouses or parents of citizens or Permanent Residents (PR).
- Applicants who purchased a property before March 1, 2013, can obtain a 5-year LTVP.
- Parents of recent graduates from Singapore government universities, polytechnics, and certain private institutions.
- Parents meeting EP or Entrepass criteria.
- Other situations (e.g., for performing arts, new job training, accompanying a student, etc.).
- Employment: LTVP+ holders (usually spouses of citizens) with a “+” sign can directly apply for a Letter of Consent (LOC) through the company to work in Singapore. For the majority, a work permit is required to work locally, with certain quota advantages during the application process.
- Eligibility for Permanent Residency (PR): Cannot apply directly but can apply as dependents along with the sponsor.
